Stitching Pretty Ltd., the Friends of Montpelier and the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission present this annual Needleart exhibit beginning Saturday, July 17, and continuing through July 30, at 9650 Muirkirk Road in Laurel. The Montpelier Summer Concert Series continues Aug. 6 with Jennifer Rose & the Mixx playing country and rock music. These free two-hour concerts take place at 7:30 p.m. Fridays on the Montpelier Mansion grounds, 9652 Muirkirk Road in Laurel. Fun at the library
A "Picture Book Parade!" for ages 2-5 with an adult will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursdays at the Savage branch of the Howard County Library. The program includes a craft.
