An 18-year-old Ellicott City high school student has been charged with touching two teenage girls in Mount Hebron High School's nurse's office, police said.
Trey Michael Murduck of the 9800 block of Caitlin's Court faces third- and fourth-degree sex offense and first- and second-degree assault charges after being accused of touching two female students, ages 14 and 16, at the high school in the 9400 block of Old Frederick Road in Ellicott City on Monday.
Police said the first incident occurred when the 14-year-old went to the nurse's office about 8:45 a.m. She was sent to a room that has several beds separated by curtains, where she found Murduck holding a folding knife, police said. After making provocative comments, police said, he inappropriately touched her.
The girl told police that when he tried to prevent her from leaving, she pushed him away and fled. She did not report the incident to school officials, but police said she later told a parent, who called police.
The second incident occurred about an hour and a half later, police said, when a 16-year-old student went to the nurse's office. She also told police that Murduck made sexual comments and inappropriately touched while as she resisted. He did not reveal a knife, police said. She did report the incident to the school, which notified police.
Murduck was arrested Thursday evening in the 15700 block of Bushy Park Road in Woodbine and was placed at the Howard County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
