Ulman to swap roles with county farmer as part of Farm-City event

Howard County Executive Ken Ulman is scheduled  to trade places with a local farmer Tuesday, Sept. 24 as part of the 10th annual Farm-City Celebration, which began Saturday and runs through Oct. 6.

Ulman will go to TLV Tree Farm in Glenelg to help run the farming operation of pork, beef, lamb, chicken, produce, pumpkins and Christmas trees.

Meanwhile, Jamie Brown of TLV will sit in for Ulman as county executive. After their switch, the two will meet at a job exchange luncheon and share experiences.
