After the officer arrested Muhammad and handcuffed him, he complained that he did not feel well and collapsed, police said. The officer and paramedics both did CPR on Muhammad, and he was taken to Howard County General Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Medics are investigating the cause of death and suspect Muhammad might have suffered a cardiac arrest.
