A tractor-trailer overturned in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 95 South in Howard County Tuesday morning, injuring the driver and causing major traffic backups, State Police said.
The two commercial vehicles crashed about 7:17 a.m. between the Interstate 895 merge and Route 100, police said.
The extent of the driver's injuries was unknown. The driver was taken to a hospital.
Three lanes were closed around the crash Tuesday morning, but reopened in about a little over an hour. State Police suggested drivers take alternate routes such as Interstate 295 or Interstate 97, if possible.
