Emergency responders were dispatched about 7:45 a.m. to the site in the 9100 block of Father's Legacy for an industrial accident, police said. Both men were in the bucket of the lift machine when it tipped over on its side.

Investigators say they don't yet know why the machine tipped over. The men were found on the ground suffering from serious injuries and taken to Howard County General Hospital, where they were both pronounced dead.

Police found no signs of foul play. They and the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Agency are continuing to investigate.

A representative of Brothers Construction Framing Inc. could not be reached.
