Tai Sophia open house
Tai Sophia Institute will offer a graduate school open house featuring all of the institute's programs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at 7750 Montpelier Road in Laurel. Prospective students will be able to discuss the programs with faculty, students and alumni, meet with admissions and financial aid counselors, and tour the facility's healing arts library, wellness clinic and the campus. Laurel Park history
"And They're Off! 100 Years at Laurel Park," a centennial exhibit at the Laurel Museum, explores the history and racing highlights of Laurel Park and the track's impact on the community. The museum is at 817 Main St. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. Information: laurelhistoricalsociety.org.
