Montpelier festival
The 19th annual Montpelier Festival of Herbs, Tea and the Arts will be held Saturday, April 25, at 9650 Muirkirk Road in Laurel. The event will feature live music, vendors, handmade arts and crafts, talks and workshops on gardening, food, a playground for kids, tea in the mansion, and a tasting of herb-infused beers from Jailbreak Brewery. Art exhibits
•"Second Take: Two Painters, Two Perspectives," an exhibition featuring landscape paintings by Nancy Davis and Diane Dunn, runs through June 20 at Himmelfarb Gallery, Maryland University of Integrative Health, 7750 Montpelier Road in Laurel. •"Hidden Treasure," an exhibit that features some of the 4,000 artifacts found during the mansion's yearlong restoration in 2013, runs through Thursday, April 30, at Montpelier Mansion, 9652 Muirkirk Road in Laurel. Auditions
