Outdoor movies
Belmont Manor and Historic Park hosts an outdoor movie series through August at 6555 Belmont Woods Road in Elkridge. Attendees can bring their own picnic dinner, blankets and lawn chairs. Popcorn and water will be available for a small fee. Movies start at 8 p.m. Free.

Outdoor worship service
Rockland United Methodist Church will hold worship services outdoors at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 7, at 8971 Chapel Ave. followed by a music festival from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Music for the service and festival will be provided by the Lone Mountain Band performing country, gospel, bluegrass, blues and rock and roll. The Howard County Historical Society presents the Ain't Misbehavin' Swing Dance Party from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at 8328 Court Ave. Refreshments will be provided. The Howard County Center for the Arts presents its annual Resident Visual Artists Exhibit through Friday, June 26, at 8510 High Ridge Road in Ellicott City.
