Youth dance
The Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department's Junior Firefighters sponsor a St. Patrick's Youth Dance from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 10, for ages 9-15 at the firehouse, 6275 Old Washington Road. Theater and lunch The Ellicott Senior Center sponsors a bus trip to the Rainbow Dinner Theater in Paradise, Pa., on Thursday, April 12. Day trip includes bus, show, lunch and gratuities. Driver safety program The Ellicott City Senior Center presents the American Association of Retired Persons' driver safety program from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 16. Class covers the latest rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate a vehicle more safely. Course also reviews the normal aging process and how to make adjustments to accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Cost is $14, $12 for AARP members.
