'Hot Mikado'

Fundraiser

The fifth-annual Chili Cook-Off to Benefit Bridges to Housing Stability will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at the Church of The Resurrection, 3175 Paulskirk Drive. At least 17 local congregations will compete to see whose chili recipe can raise the most money for the organization that helps families on the verge of homelessness. Each congregation will provide samples, and guests will vote by placing cash and checks in tip jars. Information: 410-312-5760.

Soccer registration

The coed Elkridge Youth Organization's spring soccer program is accepting registrations for ages 4 through 18. No tryouts are required, and all players receive playing time.
