Workshop Silhouette Stages will hold a musical theater audition workshop from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Slayton House, 10400 Cross Fox Lane, Columbia. Local musical director Michael Tan will conduct the workshop. Among the topics covered will be the dos and don'ts of auditioning, creating and updating an audition book, and finding new music. Everyone will receive a handout of the topics covered in the workshop and additional resources. Those signing up for the workshop should bring prepared pieces, both up-tempo and ballad, with sheet music in the correct key.
