Fall festival The Howard County Conservancy will host its annual fall festival beginning at 11 a.m. at 10520 Old Frederick Road in Woodstock. The event features a working blacksmith shop, hay rides, pony rides, a native plant sale, children's crafts, historic house tours and live music. Goats, chickens, turtles and a corn snake will fascinate the youngsters. The conservancy's resident barred owl will make an appearance. Food will be available for purchase. Tickets are $10 per car.
