Celebration The 28th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Celebration will be held at Howard Community College's Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia. The reception takes place at 2 p.m., and the program begins at 3 p.m. The celebration is free to the public, but attendees are asked to bring a canned food item to support the Howard County Food Bank. 'Thousands of Raindrops!' A forum with the county's leading water experts will be held from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 9325 Presbyterian Circle in Columbia. Benefit The Glenelg High School PTSA will host "Bingo Bag-A-Palooza" at the school, 14025 Burntwoods Road. The event benefiting the 2013 After Prom Party includes bags by Vera Bradley, Thirty-One, Coach, Pandora and others. Annual fair The Department of Citizen Services and Office of Children's Services will host its annual preschool/child care information fair, Children On Board, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ten Oaks Ballroom, 5000 Signal Bell Lane in Clarksville. Admission is free, but attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Howard County Food Bank. The event will provide parents, guardians, grandparents and child care personnel with information on child care, preschool and summer programs, as well as the opportunity to talk with teachers and program directors. Bull and oyster roast The Elkridge Rotary Club will hold its 49th annual bull and oyster roast from 7 p.m to 11:30 p.m. at LaFontaine Bleu, 7514 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. Classical quartet The Sundays At Three Chamber Music Series presents the Bryant Park Quartet at 3 p.m. Feb. 10 at Christ Episcopal Church, 6800 Oakland Mills Road in Columbia.
