Holiday lights

The 21st annual Symphony of Lights, a 20-minute drive through more than 70 larger-than-life holiday light displays, is on view through Jan. 4 at 5950 Symphony Woods Road in Columbia. Hours are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesdays through Mondays. The attraction will be closed to drive-through traffic on Tuesdays and will be closed Dec. 31 for the Midnight at 7 event. Admission is $20 per car or van with up to eight passengers; $45 for commercial vans and minibuses seating nine to 24 people; and $125 for buses exceeding 24 passengers. The event benefits Howard County General Hospital. A Bike the Lights event for bicycle riders will be held from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15.
