Reservoir senior James Simms scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds coming off the bench in the 3A East regional title game, leading the Gators to a 59-51 victory. As a forward for the basketball team, Simms is averaging over 5 points a game this winter. His real calling, though, is on the football field. He was named the Howard County Defensive Player of the Year this past fall and has accepted a full scholarship to play for Towson University next year.
James took some time out to catch up with us over the weekend about some of his interests off the field.
