Havre de Grace routed visiting Fallston and Edgewood upset visiting Bel Air to highlight week nine on the gridiron in Harford County.The Warriors (4-1, 7-1) got six touchdowns (four passing, two running) from senior quarterback Mike Flosser in an 59-34 win, while Edgewood (2-3, 5-4) used a late-game stop to upset the Bobcats (3-2, 7-2), 14-7, on the Rams' senior night.Havre de Grace travels to Bel Air next Friday with the chance to win the UCBAC Chesapeake Division title outright. A Bel Air win, coupled with the winner of the Aberdeen-North Harford game, will create a three-way tie.In Havre de Grace win the Warriors jumped out to a 21-0 lead before Fallston (1-5, 3-6) could find any real success on offense. Flosser ran 11 yards to open the scoring and after Fallston muffed a punt, Flosser capped a short 25-yard drive with a five-yard scoring pass to Jordan Day with 1:20 left in the first quarter.The Warriors were right back in the end zone in the first 1:30 of the second quarter. Flosser passed 15 yards to Knowledge Johnson and Clay Harris kicked his third of eight extra-points.The Cougars finally found the end zone on their next possession, driving 72 yards in eight plays. Quarterback Brady McMaines passed 23 yards to Scott Detloff, but the extra-point-kick was blocked.Havre de Grace countered with its only non-touchdown related points. Harris kicked a 21-yard field goal.The Cougars were able get back on the scoreboard before the half ended. McMaines, who threw for 259 yards and four touchdowns, threw 25 yards to Justin Williams. The Cougars also added a two-point by pass and trailed 24-14 at the half.It didn't take long for the game to get out of control. The Warriors took the opening possession of the second half and scored on Flosser's 30-yard run. Nineteen seconds later, senior Will Ashman picked off a McMaines pass and returned it 35 yards for the score. The Warriors lead quickly ballooned to 38-14.RaShon Bray ended the next Fallston possession with an interception, but Flosser turned the ball right back over when Cougar Garrett Phillips intercepted his first down pass. McMaines went right to work, rewarding Phillips for the defensive play. McMaines threw 23 yards to Phillips for the touchdown and Williams caught a two-point pass to keep the Cougars in the hunt, down 38-22.The Cougars climbed a little closer on McMaines' six-yard touchdown run, but the Warriors made a big stop on the conversion, to stay ahead by 10 and two scores.Havre de Grace then had another scoring spree with two touchdowns in less than 40 seconds. Flosser (18-25, 258 yards) and Day (9 catches, 154 yards) connected on an 55-yard strike and after Ashman picked off his second pass, Flosser passed seven yards to Ashman (6 catches, 73 yards) for the score and an 52-28 lead with 8:49 to play.Day intercepted McMaines later and had an 80-yard return for more points, but a penalty nullified the score. Backup quarterback Alex Gresock, however, did add the final points, taking a keeper around the left end and into the end zone from 36 yards out.Edgewood's Chance Singleton takes down Bel Air receiver Devin Anderson knocking the ball away on a fourth down and short yardage play turning the ball over to Edgewood with a 14-7 lead and approxiamtely 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter.The Cougars were able to get back in the end zone in the final seconds on McMaines' fourth touchdown pass.Rams stun BobcatsEdgewood used a Daryl Cooper one-yard run late in the fourth quarter to beat Bel Air, 14-7. The game was tied 7-7 at half.The Rams defense then stopped the Bobcats on fourth and short in the game's final 25 seconds.Edgewood's other score came with Marquez Kimbrough tossing touchdown pass to Cameron York.Hawks beat MustangsNorth Harford (3-2, 6-3) outscored visiting C. Milton Wright, 56-35, in Chesapeake play, scoring eight touchdowns on the ground.Cole Dickerson led the Hawks, running for 185 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries. He also ran for a two-point conversion.JT Kidd rushed for 149 yards and a score on 14 carries and Robbie Greene rushed for two touchdowns. Greene had 63 yards on two carries.Connor Diem added 60 yards on two carries and a touchdown and rushed Jackson Stinar gained seven yards on two carries that included a touchdown.Kicker Paul Keeney added six point-after-kicks.Aberdeen rollsAberdeen (5-4) traveled to Springbrook for a non-league game and rolled to an 46-6 win.Zion Bowens led the way, rushing for 185 yards and two touchdowns, while Joshua Maxwell added 156 yards and three touchdowns.Diamonte Sticker added a scores as well, while Kenny Huiett led the defense with 10 tackles. Anthony Kenion added nine tackles.Other scoresIn other UCBAC division action, Harford Tech (3-3, 5-4) won 35-14 at Rising Sun in Susquehanna Division play, while Joppatowne (3-3, 3-6) was beaten 31-8 by visiting Perryville (4-2, 4-5), in Susquehanna play.Also in Susquehanna play, Patterson Mill (2-4, 2-7) was beaten by visiting Elkton (6-0, 8-1), 33-14. In MIAA B Conference play, John Carroll (1-4, 1-8) lost 36-24 to visiting Severn.
