In a pair of swimming meets Tuesday, Patterson Mill and Havre de Grace were the big winners.
In tri-meet action at Magnolia Middle School Tuesday, Patterson Mill won in combined scoring over North Harford, 121-67, and Bel Air, 97-91. Bel Air also beat North Harford, 121-67.
In boys scoring, Patterson Mill beat North Harford, 63-31, and Bel Air, 51-43. Bel Air defeated North Harford, 62-32.
In girls scoring, Bel Air swept, beating Patterson Mill, 48-46, and North Harford, 59-35. Patterson Mill beat North Harford, 58-36.
Luke Holloway and Annie Tompkins led the Huskies with two wins apiece. Holloway won the 100 and 200 free boys races and Tompkins won the 50 and 100 free races.
Other boys winners for Patterson Mill were Ken Ikemoto, 200 IM; Chad Shane, 100 butterfly; and Patrick Seed, 100 back.
Katie Kirkwood, 100 butterfly, and Delaney Miller, 100 breaststroke, were additional winners for the Patterson Mill girls.
The Huskies also won two boys and two girls relays.
Hillary Young was a double winner for North Harford, taking the 200 free and 100 back races. Becky Jump added a win in the 200 IM and the Hawks were first in the 400 free relay.
Kyle Russell won the 500 free for the North Harford boys, who also added a win in the 200 medley relay.
Xavier Kane was Bel Air's top swimmer, claiming victory in the 50 free and 100 breaststroke races. Rebecca Entner added a win in the 500 free for the Bel Air girls.
Warriors beat Rams
Havre de Grace swimmers won all but two events Tuesday in a sweep of Edgewood at Edgewood Middle School.
The Warriors won the combined scoring, 200-132; boys, 95-73; and girls, 105-39.
The Warriors boys team swept the relays and had three individual boys post double wins.
Robert Bringarder handled the 200 and 50 free races, while Stephen Link won the 100 free and 100 breaststroke events. Ryan Burkhardt added a pair of wins in the 100 back and 500 free.
Zach Wilson and Alex Caron had wins in the 200 IM and 100 butterfly races, respectively.
Two double winners also led the Havre de Grace girls. Brianna Clark won the 200 free and 100 breaststroke, while Allissa Lyons won the 500 free and 100 back events.
Other girl winners were Ashley Burkhardt, 200 IM; Carly Hahn, 50 free; and Keynilie Pagan-davila, 100 butterfly.
Havre de Grace girls also won the 200 medley and 200 free relays.
Madelyn Miller won the 100 butterfly for Edgewood and then teamed with Ji-Won Choi, Abby Lancaster and Shayne Moulsdale to win the 400 free relay.
Two meets were contested Wednesday, but results were not made available.
Harford County championships
The Harford swim championships are set for next week at Magnolia Middle School.
The boys will compete Tuesday and the girls will follow Wednesday. Both meets begin at 5:45 p.m.
Each school can enter four swimmers per event, but only two will count toward scoring.
