Harford swimmers still in line for state competition

Harford's swimmers who qualified for state meet competition were put off by the snow just like all other sports.

Both meets, the 1A-2A-3A and the 3A-4A meets were postponed Saturday and rescheduled for the coming days.

Harford qualified swimmers from Aberdeen, C. Milton Wright, Edgewood, Fallston, Harford Tech, Havre de Grace, Joppatowne, North Harford and Patterson Mill will compete in the 1A-2A-3A meet on Friday at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex in Landover.

Bel Air, Harford's lone school in the 3A-4A meet, qualified two relays (boys 400 free and girls 200 free) for the event, which will be held Tuesday, March 3 at 4 p.m. at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex.

Bel Air's potential relay swimmers include Kyle Fallace, Matt Siebold, Drew Gagnon, Xavier Kane, Tabitha Cousler, Yvonne Armstrong, Madie Dougherty, Ellie Harris and Rebbeca Entner.

Alternates are Noah Courtney, Brody Cullison, Megan Cullison, Andrew Donovan, Connor Fallace, Nick Hricz, Sierra Kane, Victoria Kolosey, Stephanie Lawrence, Emma Manno, Kirsten McDonough, Olivia McPhee, Ryan St. Pierre and Victoria Wooten.

Alternates will be used if a starter is injured, sick, etc. leading to the event. Entner is also an alternate for the 500 free.
