The Generals were held off the bases in five of their seven at-bats; they mounted the first threat of the game when a walk and two singles loaded the bases in the third with one out.

The CMW defense took over from there as a hard shot to shortstop Kim produced a throw home to get the lead runner. A shot to Murphy at third by the next hitter was the third out of the inning.

The Mustangs will travel to Landsdowne Friday to defend their 3A North crown. Game time is 4 p.m.
