Despite the busy softball schedule showing for Wednesday, the only game finding a dry enough field to play on featured North Harford visiting Bel Air in an UCBAC Chesapeake Division game.

Bel Air (6-3, 10-3) defeated North Harford (1-7, 3-10), 6-0. Amanda Criss tossed a one-hitter for the win, while Madisyn Greaver gets the loss for the Hawks.

The Bobcats scored one run in the first, second and fourth innings. Two more crossed the plate in the fifth and the Bobcats closed the scoring with a run in the sixth.

The Bobcats had multiple players with two hits. Brianna Fleischmann singled, tripled and drove in a run, while Morgan Dvorak added an RBI single and RBI double.

Katrina Thielhorn added a single and two-run double and McKenna Reiswig had a single, double and a stolen base. Petyon Hale added two singles, while Criss hit a double and Jill Kozak had a single. Ari Dramis also helped out the Bobcats with a pair of sac bunts, one producing an RBI.

Kaylin Bordenski had North Harford's only hit, a single. She also had a stolen base.

Postponements

Among the non-played games, Edgewood at Aberdeen was rescheduled for May 8 at 3:30 p.m.; Havre de Grace at Elkton was to be played Thursday; Harford Tech at Joppatowne moved to May 8 at 3:30 p.m.; and C. Milton Wright at Rising Sun moved to May 4 at 6 p.m. No make-up date for Fallston at Patterson Mill.
