Megan McNew won the women's race, and her father, Lonnie McNew, finished second in his age group in the GBMC Father's Day 5K in Towson Sunday.
Their combined performance wasn't quite fast enough to win the father-daughter competition of the annual race, but with their combined age of 110, it was noteworthy.

Lonnie, 73, of White Hall, completed the 5K course at the campus of the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in 29:38. He trailed the winner of the 70-79 age group by 13 seconds.
