Wolf shoots par to lead Fallston to golf win

The Fallston golf team was back in the win column Thursday with a tri-match victory at Mountain Branch Golf Course.

The Cougars shot a great score of 212 to beat Patterson Mill, 239, and Bel Air, 251.

Dylan Wolf shot even par 36 to lead the Cougars, while Colby Ogrysko shot 43. Dayton Ogrysko and Everett Cox both shot 44 and Michael Corona shot 45.

Patterson Mill was led by Alec Michaels, who shot 45. Michael Montgomery was two strokes back at 47, while Sean Powers, Paula Moon and Mitchell Walz each shot 49.

Nick Daristotle shot 44 to pace Bel Air's efforts and Evan Ripple carded a 49. Bel Air's other players were Josh Stocum, 51; James DiMeo, 51; and Ryan Menchen, 56.

Hawks win, too

North Harford also won Thursday, beating Elkton and North East in tri-match action at Geneva Farm Golf Course.

North Harford shot 215, while North East shot 259 and Elkton, 281.

Jake Nemeth shot 39 to lead the Hawks, while Derek McManus and Jake Zdon both shot 42. Derek Kozak and Zack Karcher both shot 46.
