The Aberdeen golf team rebounded from a Tuesday loss with a nice win Wednesday at Ruggles Golf Course.The Eagles shot 214 to beat Bel Air, 224, and Harford Tech, 226.Mitchell Hardin shot 39 to lead the Eagles and Audrey Moon shot 41. Hunter Schiesser added a round of 44, while Ryan Feathers and David Fulp both shot 45.Evan Ripple and Josh Stocum both shot 40 to lead Bel Air. Nick Daristotle carded a 46, while Ryan Menchen and James DiMeo both shot 49.Loy Clements shot 43 to pace Tech. Josh Kopeck, Ryan Schuck and Adam Haviland each shot 44 for the Cobras. Noah Lloyd closed out the Tech scoring with 51.Cougars beat Hawks, RamsFallston was also a winner Wednesday, shooting 206 to beat C. Milton Wright, 234. Edgewood had just four players and shot 256. With four scoring, Fallston shot 160 and CMW, 184.The match was played at Mountain Branch Golf Course.Dylan Wolf shot 38 for the Cougars, but Everett Cox was low man with 37. Dayton Ogrysko, 41; Colby Ogrysko, 44; and Zach Barkhorn, 46, rounded out the Cougars scoring.Corey Poulsen shot 44 to pace CMW, while Alex Mattes and Michael Cummings both shot 46. Hunter Tollinger of Bo Manor shot 39.Mustangs get nice winThe CMW golf team picked up a nice pair of wins Tuesday, beating both Bo Manor and Aberdeen in tri-match play at Maryland Golf and Country Clubs.The Mustangs shot 237 to Bo Manor's 246 and Aberdeen's 247.Alex Mattes shot 41 to pace the Mustangs and Cory Poulsen shot 46. Ethan Hauer added a 49, while Talen Lurz, 50, and Michael Cummings, 51, rounded out the CMW scoring.Mitchell Hardin led the Eagles with a 43 and David Fulp shot 46. It had been scheduled for Chesapeake Bay-North East, but Bel Air coach Ryan Doyle learned Tuesday by email that the North East course is closed for business.Nick Daristotle led the Bobcats, shooting 42, while Josh Stocum shot 46 and Ryan Menchen, a 47. James DiMeo, 48, and Jake Bowen, 49, also scored for the Bobcats.Zach Lockard and Luke Riley both shot 47 to lead the Indians.Edgewood was led by Ethan Bowlin's 47. The Rams other scorers were Philip Irving, 54; Matt Polvinale, 63; and George Nickels, 64.
