Harford Tech needed five sets to slide past visiting Patterson Mill, 3-2, in Tuesday's UCBAC girls volleyball.
Set scores were 25-16, 25-22, 20-25, 19-25 and 19-17.
Leaders for Tech were Kerrigan Clem, 11 kills, one ace, two blocks; Kieran Turner, two aces, three kills; Jessica Smith, four aces, two kills, nine assists; Marley Winnicki, one ace, four kills; and Bailee Richman, one ace, six kills and seven kills.
The Huskies got five aces, three kills and six digs from Rachel Gileza and three aces, three kills and 14 digs from Olivia Manraksa. Becca Moen added four kills and 12 digs and Leah Sanders finished with three kills and 17 digs.
Hawks beat Rams
Edgewood lost at North Harford, 3-1. Scores were 16-25, 25-21, 20-25 and 15-25.
Leaders for Edgewood were Tamiya Dean, seven kills, two digs; Bianca Tucker, 14 assists, two aces; and Korrin Stumpf, six aces.
