The Harford Tech girls volleyball team was back in the win column Thursday, hosting and defeating North East, 3-1. Scores were 17-25, 25-17, 25-23 and 25-20.
Leading the Cobras were Kieran Turner, two aces, four kills, four blocks; Kerrigan Clem, two aces, three kills, two blocks; Bailee Richman one ace, 13 kills; Jonna Maddox six aces, one kill; and Jessica Smith, six aces, two kills, three blocks and seven assists.
Panthers beat Huskies
Patterson Mill lost in straight sets at Perryville on Thursday. Scores were 10-25, 17-25 and 13-25.
Megan Eberius led the Huskies with two aces and two assists. Olivia Manraksa and Emily Waters had two kills each.
Becca Moen led the teams' 33 digs with eight. Leah Sanders added seven digs and Rachel Gileza had five.
Gabby Goodnow paced Perryville with 18 kills, 10 service points, seven blocks, five digs and four aces. Teri Wennersten added eight kills and six digs.
Rose Porch contributed 26 assists and seven service points and Brooke Reynolds added eight digs and seven service points. Also, Erin Murphy had 20 service points and three aces, while Hailey Jones had 15 digs.
Rams beat Eagles
Edgewood was a winner Thursday in five sets at Aberdeen. Scores were 25-23, 25-21, 21-25, 16-25 and 15-13.
Leading Edgewood were Tamiya Dean, 11 kills, four aces, two digs; Bianca Tucker, 22 assists, three aces, two kills; Mekkai Koger, five kills; Sydney Wolfe, five digs; and Zoe Ingram, four kills.
HCS wins
Harford Christian also earned a win, defeating Rosedale Baptist on the road Thursday, 3-1. Scores were 25-6, 21-25, 26-24 and 25-8.
Maddie Purdy led the Eagles with 10 aces and 10 kills.
Fallston improved to 2-0 Thursday, sweeping visiting Bel Air, 3-0. Scores were 25-23, 25-13 and 25-14.
