Fallston gets to .500 in league with girls soccer win Monday

The Fallston girls soccer team evened its UCBAC Chesapeake Division record at 2-2 Monday, visiting and beating Rising Sun, 3-0.

Taylor Dudley, Ashley Smith and Alynne Abney scored a goal each for the Cougars (6-3), while assists were credited to Sam Decarlo, Alicyn Lose and Sydney Crofton.

Fallston played two goalies with Emily Rhinehart making no saves and Izzie Newkirk making one.

The Cougars led at the half, 2-0.

Other Monday score

In non-league play Monday, Edgewood (4-5-1) traveled to Hammond and returned with a 1-1 tie.

Hawks beat Rams

North Harford (1-2, 5-3-1) beat host Edgewood (0-3), 4-1, Thursday in Chesapeake play.

The Hawks used goals from four different players, including sophomores Marley Copes, Kara Kramer and Hannah Garrett. Senior Cami Davis also scored a goal.

Kaley Thompson scored a pair of goals Wednesday night to lead Patterson Mill past host Fallston, 2-1, in UCBAC Chesapeake Division girls soccer play.

Copes also had two assists, while other assists were credited to Lauren O'Sullivan and Maddy McKinney.

Bobcats beat Tigers

Bel Air (5-0, 6-3-1) cruised to a Chesapeake win Thursday, defeating host Rising Sun, 3-0.

Mackenzie Wallace scored twice in the win and Lexi Roloson scored once.

Grace Wehland, Lexi Kraemer and Lauren Asher added assists.

In goal for the Bobcats, Jill Kozak and Shelby Blaker each made two saves.

In Susquehanna play Thursday, Aberdeen (2-0-1, 3-4-1) beat host Joppatowne, 6-2. In non-league action Friday, Fallston blanked visiting Dulaney, 1-0.
