Patterson Mill continued its unbeaten streak in UCBAC Chesapeake Division girls basketball play Monday, beating rival and host Bel Air, 54-48. The Huskies, who will host Aberdeen next week, improved to 9-0 in league play and 14-3 overall. Bel Air is 4-5, 6-11.
Qalea Ismail scored 23 points to lead three Huskies in double figures. Chyna Latimer and Khayla Mitchell added 15 points each.
Bel Air was led by Catia Johnson's 12 points.
Tech clubs Elkton
Harford Tech (10-1, 12-4) won big over visiting Elkton, 61-15, in Monday's Susquehanna Division game.
The Cobras led 32-4 at the half. Jonna Maddox and Brianna McAllister (six assists) scored 14 points.
Faith Hill added 12 points and Breyana McWhite scored eight for the Cobras.

Joppatowne (4-8, 4-14) lost at Rising Sun, 59-33, in Susquehanna play.
Cobras beat Panthers
In light girls basketball action scheduled Friday, Harford Techposted a 36-16 UCBAC Susquehanna Division win at Perryville.
The Cobras (9-1, 11-4) led the Panthers (3-7, 4-10) at half, 19-12.
Jonna Maddoxscored 14 points to lead the Cobras, who also got 11 points,16 rebounds and eight steals from Brianna McAllister. Breyana McWhiteadded six points and six rebounds.
Cougars win, too
Fallston (7-9) played visiting Rising Sun (15-3) in a non-division game Friday and won, 36-30. Stats were not provided.
Huskies beat Mustangs
Patterson Mill (8-0, 13-3) stayed unbeaten in Chesapeake Division play Thursday, winning at C. Milton Wright, 51-33. The Huskies outscored the Mustangs in each quarter and led 23-15 at halftime.
Chyna Latimer's 18 points led three Huskies in double figures, while Khayla Mitchell scored 13 and Qalea Ismail added 11.
Ayreka Browning pumped in 16 points to lead CMW (5-3, 15-3).
Eagles pound Hawks
Aberdeen (7-1, 13-2) stayed right on the heels of Patterson Mill in division play Thursday with a 71-13 win over visiting North Harford (1-8, 5-9).
Stephanie Jones' 14 points paced four Eagles who reached double figures. Zazje Norton and Endia Jones each netted 12 points and Kierra Palmer finished with 10. Aberdeen led 51-7 at the half.
Claire Macatee scored six points to guide North Harford.
Warriors top Mariners in OT
Havre de Grace (6-5, 9-8) inched back across the .500 mark Thursday with a 51-47 overtime win at Joppatowne (4-7, 4-13) in Susquehanna play.
Samara White pumped in 17 points for the winners and Addie Richardson added 12.
Joppatowne stats were not provided.
