The Patterson Mill Huskies (2-1, 2-6) won their second straight UCBAC Chesapeake Division field hockey game Monday, knocking off visiting Perryville (0-2, 3-3), 3-1. The game was tied at the half, 1-1.
Molly Egan, Elise Alders and Julia Frankis tallied the Patterson Mill goals, all unassisted.
Ashley Meekins scored the lone Panthers goal, also unassisted.
Cougars beat Tigers
Fallston (3-0, 6-2) was a winner in Chesapeake play as well, blanking visiting Rising Sun (0-2, 2-4), 7-0.
Kelly Emge and Erin McClelland each scored two goals to lead the Cougars. Single goals were scored by Abbie Utz, Rachel Edsall and Kylie Ryan.
Sarah Dudick had two assists, while Alyssa Ledbetter and Emge had one assist each.
Hawks fall on road
North Harford (5-2) traveled west to Liberty in Carroll County and fell in non-league play, 2-1.
Brooke Ciampaglio scored the Hawks goal, with Nicole Kress adding the assist. Brooke Hettler and Ashley Caldwell scored a goal each for Liberty, both unassisted.
Hawks goalie Skylar Limpert finished with nine saves. Liberty keeper Grace Fenner had four saves.
The game was scoreless at the half.
HCS wins title
Harford Christian School captured the Tome Invitational Tournament championship Saturday, winning twice and also tying a game.
The Eagles opened with a 5-0 win over host Tome, before battling to a 1-1 tie against MOA Charter School of Delaware.
HCS and MOA matched up again in the title game with Harford earning the 1-0 win.
Lily Loomis led the Eagles with five goals, while Julia Smith added two goals. Taylor Dawson and Lexi Tippet had one assist each.
In the Eagles goal, Audreyanna Howell finished with 15 total saves.
Loomis was named MVP and other Eagles named all-tournament were Kaylee Cullum, Melissa Good and Smith and Dawson.
Eagles beat Mariners
Harford Christian also beat visiting Joppatowne, 9-0, Friday. The Eagles led 5-0 at the half.
Loomis scored five goals and added two assists in the win and Smith added two goals.
Dawson had a goal and assist and Olivia Armstrong also scored a goal.
HCS goalie Howell made two saves.
Bobcats get win
Bel Air finally got into the win column, beating visiting Our Lady of Good Counsel, 4-3, Friday.
Bailey Springer led the win with a pair of goals and an assist.
Hawks blank Cobras
North Harford was also winner Friday, blanking visiting Harford Tech, 6-0, in non-division play.
Nicole Kress led the Hawks with two goals, while single goals were scored by Amber Caton, Emily Rinaca, Sarah Ortt and Ariel Limpert.
Assists were credited to Hunter Meisz and Ariel Limpert.
In the North Harford goal, keeper Skylar Limpert had two saves. The Cobras played two goalies with Ellie Philben making 14 saves and Jessie Clancey making three.
The Hawks led the game at halftime, 1-0.
Patriots beat Panthers
John Carroll defeated host Perryville on Friday, 2-0.
Ashlee Kothenbeutel scored the first Patriots goal just 4:15 into the game with an assist from Sammi Edwards.
Brooke Hare, unassisted, scored the other goal four minutes later.
"We played a good first half and had a lot of scoring opportunities throughout the game," Patriots coach Alice Puckett said.
Starting goalie Emma Gromacki saved a stroke midway through the second half to keep the shutout in tact. Junior Grace Hollin also saw time in the goal, but did not record a save.
The Patriots also got strong midfield play from Charlotte Haggerty, Kothenbeutel and Emily Stancliff.
