The Fallston boys soccer team continued to roll Wednesday, easily beating visiting Rising Sun, 8-0, in an UCBAC Chesapeake Division game.
The Cougars (2-0, 7-1) got goals from eight different players. Scoring were Ben Muzzelo, Cory Reed, Corey Madigan, Curtis Kassir, Ben Word, Reese Ripken, Justin Neil and Andrew Solomon.
Jake Kauffman added four assists for the Cougars, who have shut out the opposition six times this season.
Warriors win
Havre de Grace won its first boys soccer game Wednesday night, edging visiting Bo Manor, 2-1, in Susquehanna Division play.
Christian Blackwell and Devon Martin scored goals for the Warriors (1-1, 1-5). Goalie Aaron Toepfer made 10 saves.
Mustangs beat Hawks
C. Milton Wright (2-0, 6-1-1) beat visiting North Harford (0-2, 1-6-1), 2-0, Wednesday night in Chesapeake play.
The game had a 30-minute weather delay with 14 minutes left in the first half with the game scoreless. Two minutes out of the delay, Ryan Belfiore put the Mustangs up, 1-0, on a ball slipped behind the back line by Jake Spurlock. Belfiore delivered a low, hard-driven shot to the far post.
The other CMW goal also came in the first half. Sean Fleming was fouled in the box with 10 seconds left in the half and he converted the penalty kick.
CMW goalie Ryan Miller made two saves.
Suspended game
Edgewood (1-0, 2-2) and host Harford Tech (1-0, 4-1-1) were halted in the first half of their Susquehanna game. Edgewood was leading, 3-0.
