Several Harford County boys high school basketball teams opened respective seasons Tuesday.
Among them were Bel Air visiting Fallston in an interesting opener. The game, though, wasn’t so interesting as Fallston rolled over Bel Air, 63-33.
The defense of Cougar senior guard Collin Hoerr sparked a third quarter rally in which Fallston outscored Bel Air, 25-3, in the quarter.
10 different Cougars found the scoring column, led by Hoerr’s 14 points., Ethan Sommer added 12, while Ryan Cassedy scored eight and Mason Mullaney netted seven.
Bobcats coach Alex Darko says the Bobcats couldn't get anything going offensively, especially in the second half. "We committed 22 turnovers in the game and that's unacceptable. The third quarter really hurt us," Darko said.
