A 10-point hole midway through the second quarter when Bo Manor’s Johnny Knight sank a three-point shot to put his team ahead, 29-19.
Jordan White, however, kept Havre de Grace in it with a pair of long, three-point shots. The baskets had the deficit down to six, 31-25, and fhe Warriors went to the half, down, 33-26.
A 15-1 run to open the second half had Havre de Grace ahead, 41-34, midway through the third period. Bo Manor, though, regrouped and with a 9-0 run of its own, went back ahead, 43-41.
White’s short jumper re-tied the game at 43. but a turnover by the Warriors in the final 10 seconds led a Bo Manor basket and 47-45 lead.
The fourth quarter was back-and-forth and with 3:00 left, Havre de Grace was down 53-52. Josiah Scott’s basket put Havre de Grace back ahead by a point and fellow sophomore Gary Gibson added a steal and layup to make it 56-53 with just over a minute to play.
