CMW, Patterson Mill, North Harford, HdG post Monday boys hoop wins

The C. Milton Wright boys basketball team continues to post wins, beating host Fallston, 63-20, in UCBAC Chesapeake Division play Monday.

The Mustangs (11-0, 18-1) put 12 players in the scoring column, led by Henry Cuffee's 13 points and five rebounds.

Mychal Stefanides added eight points, four assists and four steals.

The Mustangs led 32-14 at the half. Fallston slipped to 0-12 and 3-18.

Huskies beat Rams

Also in Monday Chesapeake play, Patterson Mill (5-6, 8-10) knocked off host Edgewood (4-7, 10-8), 53-47. The Huskies trailed at half, 22-18.

Tyler Jakubowski scored 19 points to lead all scorers and Rahmon Felder added 12 points for the winners.

Edgewood was led by Tyrone McKisset's 18 points.Raekwon Harrison added eight points and David Velasquez netted six.

Hawks beat Tigers

North Harford (6-8, 9-12) visited Rising Sun Monday and won, 47-35, in Susquehanna play.

Andrew Langan led with 19 points. Mick Rowland added eight points, eight boards and three blocks and Brandon Tittle had a great court game with 11 steals and five assists.

Also in Susquehanna play Monday, division leading Havre de Grace (10-2, 17-3) rolled over visiting Elkton, 82-49.

Thursday action

Boys basketball in Harford County was limited Thursday night, but a handful of teams found their way onto the court.

Among them, Harford Tech (10-3, 14-7) edged host North Harford (5-8, 8-13), 49-47, in an UCBAC Susquehanna Division game. Tech, which beat North Harford, 53-52, in their last meeting, led at the half, 25-20.

Hunter Norcross had a big game for Tech, scoring 16 points and pulling down 23 rebounds. Darius Dangerfield added 16 points and five steals. Dangerfield was 11-for-12 on foul shots, including seven-for-eight in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Fred Gordon added 13 points, nine rebounds and five steals.

North Harford, which had the ball with eight seconds left, missed a game-winning three. Brett Hurley had 17 points and seven rebounds and Zach Stike had 15 points. Andrew Klapka added seven points and 11 rebounds.

Mariners beat Cougars

Joppatowne (9-2, 16-3) beat host Fallston (0-11, 3-17), 60-46, in Chesapeake play.

Dominic Smith led the Mariners with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Rashard Gore scored 11 points, while Fortune Okeigweigh and Derek Orr each scored 10 points.

Other score

Aberdeen (6-6, 11-10) celebrated Senior Night with a 67-50 Chesapeake win over Bel Air (4-7, 7-13).
