Megan DiGregorio won the women's race of the Bel Air Town Run for the fifth time Sunday. Tyler Muse won the men's race for the first time, leading 1,053 runners to the finish at Shamrock Park.

DiGregorio, 28, of White Marsh, won each year from 2010 to 2013 and finished second the last two years. This time, she raced over the 5K course in 18:19, to finish 10 seconds ahead of Carly Page of Baltimore. Lillian Pinault of Baltimore finished third in 19:56.

DiGregorio's time was 24 seconds slower than her fastest race in the Town Run, a difference likely due to warm, humid conditions and her having run the Baltimore 10 miler the day before, winning it in 1:04:13.

Muse, the runner-up last year in 15:29, set the pace through a 4:37 first mile and steadily increased his lead to almost 200 meters. The former Bel Air resident reached the finish arch in 15:35, 35 seconds ahead of Christopher Shaw of Silver Spring. Nick Klastava of Perry Hall finished third in 16:25, and Daniel Colopietro of Bel Air, fourth in 16:40.
