Uh, oh, dear readers,

It's Friday the 13th. Beware of black cats, broken mirrors and traversing under ladders!

December is National Tie Month. Could a tie be lurking in the birthday gifts of: Ella Renee Stratton (Dec. 6); Makayla Hopps (Dec. 9); Steiner Pierce (Dec. 10); Margaret Perry (Dec. 11); Jane Martin (Dec. 13); Bryan Dawson (Dec. 16); George McClaskey (one year old), Roberta Hessler (Dec. 17) or the anniversary presents of Scott and Linda Kirkendall (Dec. 1) or Bud and Kathy Webb (Dec. 10)? Congratulations, all.

If you are feeling a little bit badgered this holiday season, cheer-up and make Dec. 19 (Thursday) your special reward which is National Underdog Day.
