North Park nature walk on the agenda this weekend [Havre de Grace]

The Susquehanna Museum at the Lock House will conduct a historic, nature walk on the North Park Trail, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. Meet at the Lockhouse for this free, one hour, informative tour. Phone 410-939-5780, email or visit


Also as you plan for Christmas, the Lockhouse holiday boutique is Dec. 7, noon to 3 p.m.; Dec. 8, noon to 6 p.m. and the 41st candlelight tour of selected homes and historic Havre de Grace sites on Dec. 8, 4 to 8 p.m. Early birds get tickets for $15 until Dec. 1.

Tomorrow, Nov. 16 is the International Day of Tolerance.


Since November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month, it may come as no surprise Nov. 16 is also the Great American Smoke Out Day.

Grace Place Serving Center will host a free, hot luncheon Nov. 19 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 114 North Union Avenue, 410-939-2107. Volunteers will serve the regular Tuesday lunch to those in need.
