Congratulations to local radio station WXCY who through their radiothon Sept. 3 and 4, raised more than $200,000 in donations for the A.I. Nemours Children's Hospital. What a great accomplishment; I was listening in.

The Arts Commission is sponsoring "Lunch with Rosalie Calvert" Sept. 26, noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Vandiver Inn, $35 ticket. The Rodder's Journal hot rod and custom car magazine will host a stopover of 150 to 200 cars in Havre de Grace, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Look at the cars parked at Jean Roberts, David Craig and Hutchins parks in downtown.
