The Harford Commission on Veterans Affairs will host a veterans information fair at the Bel Air Armory on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.The fair, which is free and open to all vets, will offer information on benefits, schooling, jobs, housing and other topics of interest. The Armory address is 37 N. Main St.Boker said the 16-member commission has received new energy since the election of Harford County Executive Barry Glassman in late 2014. Boker said they have asked the county executive to attend."We have excellent participation by local veterans and want to be ever present for vets with a problem," he said. The Commission on Veterans Affairs meets the first Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the first floor public meeting room of the Harford County government administrative building at 220 S.
