When they arrived, they were unable to find a victim, but did find evidence of a shooting. A few minutes later, Harford Memorial Hospital notified police that a shooting victim had walked into the emergency room.

The victim has been identified Quintin Twyman, 31, of Defense Drive in Aberdeen.

Twyman was later transferred to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was listed in stable condition as of 9 a.m. Thursday.

APD spokesperson Cpl. Shannon Persuhn said police were still looking for suspects.

Persuhn said investigators believe the suspect is known to Twyman and do not think the shooting was a random assault.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Alexander of the Aberdeen Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 410-272-2121, ext. 128.
