A woman was injured skydiving in Churchville Sunday afternoon, the Harford County Fire & EMS Association said.
The 25-year old woman suffered an ankle injury that was not-life threatening after she landed from a skydiving jump, Association spokesperson Jenn Chenworth said.
The incident was reported at 1:37 p.m. at Skydive Baltimore, in the 3500 block of Aldino Road, she said. The company is based at the Harford County Airport.
There was no indication of any parachute failure, Chenworth said.
The injured woman was taken by ambulance to a regional trauma center.
Earlier in the weekend, rescue and emergency medical crews were called out shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday for a fall reported at Kilgore Falls in northern Harford.
The person who fell suffered an angle injury, according to Harford County emergency radio dispatches. No additional details were available.
