Several other people were in the home at the time but no one else was injured, Budnick said.

Investigators were still looking for suspects and a motive on Tuesday, he said.

Holmes was visiting the house and it is not known if the incident is drug- or gang-related, Budnick said.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Section of the Aberdeen Police, 410-272-2121.
