An Edgewood man was arrested after allegedly firing a gun during an altercation near Trimble Road on Sunday, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said.
Shawaun Steven Beauford, 37, of the 400 block of Buxton Court, was charged with assault after police responded to a report of shots fired at about 9:20 a.m. Sunday on Buxton Court, according to a news release.
During the altercation, the suspect allegedly fired at least one shot at a person who the suspect knows, according to the press release.
No one was injured in the incident, according to the news release.
Beauford allegedly fled into an area home after the shooting. Deputies quickly found Beauford and arrested him without incident, according to the release.
A handgun allegedly used in the assault was found at Beauford's home, according to the release.
Beauford is charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and having a handgun on his person, according to online court records.
He was released on $50,000 bond Monday, according to online court records.
