Denzel Shabazz Jones, 16, of the 1900 block of Eloise Lane, was ordered held without bail by a Harford County District Court Judge on Monday; he and two other suspects allegedly forced a girl to have sex in the Grempler Way area, according to charging documents.

Devonte E. King, 17, of the 1800 block of Grempler Way, was the second suspect in the case and was ordered held on $25,000 bail on Oct. 14.

The victim, whom Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Cristie Kahler said is 17, told police she was walking in the area of Brookside Drive near the Edgewood recreation center in mid-June when she noticed several people standing at a cut-through by Grempler Way, according to charging documents.

After one of them implied he had a knife, the three suspects allegedly forced the girl to have sex with them, according to charging documents.

The girl identified Denzel Jones and Devonte King, saying she knows them from the neighborhood, according to documents; she did not know the suspect with the knife.

Kahler said she believes the suspects were not charged with rape because the incident involved oral sex, not intercourse.
