At their September meeting, the members and guests of Grace United Methodist Women in Aberdeen enjoyed a program given by Grace Church member Dr. D. Henry "Skip" Ruth about noted author Pearl S. Buck, who was the first woman to receive the Nobel Literary Prize. Ruth knew Mrs. Buck and shared many interesting remembrances. He also showed personal photos and other memorabilia.
