More booms from Aberdeen Proving Ground tests likely, starting Monday

The U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, plans to conduct several large detonations beginning on or about Monday, Dec. 17, and ending on or about Friday, Dec. 21.
These detonations are likely to generate sound and/or vibration outside the installation boundary, according to the installation command.
If weather conditions are not favorable in minimizing noise off the installation, firing will be rescheduled, the command said in a news release.
The U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center, a test center under the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, provides test and test support services for authorized customers, within the Department of Defense and outside the DoD, including government and non-government organizations, both foreign and domestic.
The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command plans, conducts, and integrates developmental testing, independent operational testing, independent evaluations, assessments, and experiments to provide essential information to decision makers.
