Last weekend, equestrians from all over the country participated in the Fair Hill International. The barns, fields, rings and trails were buzzing with activity while spectators enjoyed the dressage events, the jumpers and the steeplechase races.
Much sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Mary McWilliams of Rising Sun, as she passed away on Oct. 7 after a long illness.
And condolences are sent to the family and friends of Naomi "Lee" Breslin of Rising Sun, as she passed away unexpectedly at Union Hospital in Elkton on Oct. 15.

The Port Deposit VFW Post 8185 rescheduled its annual Fall Car Show for Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Dash plaques will be given to the first 70 cars registered.
