Thank you, Harford County, for joining Oak Grove Baptist Church in our fourth annual Women's Conference held March 22.
With nearly 130 in attendance, we appreciated Michelle Mackall's talk on her passion to reach the hearts of teen girls and women so that they may see themselves through the eyes of God rather than the eyes of the world. Michelle shared her battle to overcome an eating disorder. She spoke about how her journey and the Bible brought her to the point of seeing herself through God's eyes - treasured and beautiful!
For each of our Women's Conference attendees, we provided reusable shopping bags filled with several gifts and coupons. We especially want to thank the following local businesses that provided coupons: Sonic Drive-In, Bel Air; MaGerks Pub & Grill; and Chick-fil-A, Abingdon. Also, thanks goes to Massage Envy for their donation of a 1-hour facial.
Special thanks go to Kingsville Station at White Marsh and owner, Henry Jones, for the very delicious lunches in individual boxes.
All these businesses added to the enjoyment of a wonderful day.
