Residents of English Country Manor in Bel Air can exit their community in a much safer manner now.
Town Commissioners approved installation of a traffic signal at Gateway Drive and Boulton Street. Installed in May, the new light has made entry onto Boulton Street much easier and safer.
I want to express my appreciation for the light. While serving on the Board of Directors of English Country Manor II, the past eight years, I attended many Town Council meetings and Budget Work sessions, expressing the need for a light. The need for a light was supported by a traffic study of the intersection.
I found the Town Commissioners, Town Administrator, Chief of Police, Directors of Public Works, Finance and Planning very professional and concerned for the well being of Bel Air residents.
Bel Air is fortunate to have such talent in place overseeing the needs of our community.
