A fine place for a park in Bel Air [Letter]

A lush, pastoral place can still exist if a buyer acts before Thanksgiving.

The idyllic 1835 Brick House is surrounded by Heavenly Waters Park/Liriodendron. The house overlooks the County Seat. Historic outbuildings are also walking distance from "everything" in Bel Air. The approximately 5 acres need the local powers to keep them safe and open for a golden future.

These same acres can keep the county park safe. If what the County/Town want is to sit by, the National Register tract can go to a builder instead. The owner has declined two builder offers some time ago for the sake of the community.

Now the Brick House is likely to remain available until Nov. 23, at 1 p.m. That is when a non-distressed auction occurs. Another open house for interested buyers is this Saturday from 1-3 p.m.
