Also pushing for a new high school in Havre de Grace [Letter]

I read your piece on the IAC's ruling, and I noted that you managed to give credit to just about everyone (including a lot of people who had little or nothing to do with the process) but not a word about me. Since I was the guy on the trenches on this, I'm not exactly pleased.
I was the one who put HHS on the priority list and kept it there through two budget cycles. I was also the one who got the staff to talk to Wayne Dougherty and briefed Wayne on what we needed. That was core to the "community school" argument.
As you said when you were quoting Dave Glenn, when I came on this board, HHS was not on anyone's radar. Had I not persuaded my Board colleagues and worked with staff, the ask for Havre de Grace High School would never have reached Annapolis.
